CertainTeed Landmark Shingles: Why We Install Them on Every Roof

After 5 years installing every major shingle brand in Greenwood County, CertainTeed Landmark is what we put on our customers' homes — and ours.

Why Landmark

CertainTeed Landmark is a dual-layer architectural shingle with a wider exposure and heavier mat than entry-level shingles. In our Carolina climate that means better wind resistance, longer granule retention, and a more dimensional look that hides minor roof imperfections.

Warranty coverage

Landmark carries a lifetime limited warranty from CertainTeed (50 years for the original homeowner) plus a 15-year StreakFighter algae-resistance warranty. Combined with our 10-year craftsmanship warranty, that's full coverage on both the materials and the installation.

Wind and impact rating

Standard Landmark is rated for 110 mph winds; with proper 6-nail installation we can warranty up to 130 mph — meaningful when summer thunderstorms come through Greenwood County.

Color options

Landmark comes in 20+ colors, from classic Weathered Wood and Driftwood to modern Moire Black and Cobblestone Gray. We bring samples to every free inspection so you can see them against your siding and trim.
